Mamaila empowers through direct selling

COMMUNITY builder Ntendeni Olga Mamaila is on a mission to help young people build a better future through direct selling and entrepreneurship.

Mamaila, from Thohoyandou in the Vhembe District, joined the industry not because she wanted a new title, but because she wanted a platform where she could help people in her community grow.

Today, she uses the opportunity to uplift young people, teach practical skills and help families earn a reliable income.

The mother of three and grandmother of two says her passion lies in changing lives. “When I talk to people about this work, it’s not only about business. It’s about helping someone put food on the table, pay school fees, or feel proud of building something of their own. I am not here to be anyone’s boss. I am here to lead. Everyone has potential; they just need the right support,” said Mamaila.

After spending two decades with her previous company, Mamaila says she knows the direct-selling world well. Over the years she has built teams, trained leaders and helped many people earn an income.

However, she wanted something that aligned with her values and the needs she saw in her community.

She explains that the products offered through the business are practical and useful for everyday families, including home essentials, health products and other items people use daily.

“The system is simple and easy to understand, so team members always know what they are working towards. You are building something that belongs to you, and your team becomes part of your legacy,” she said.

Mamaila also believes that recognising people’s efforts plays a big role in keeping them motivated.

“When people see others like them succeed, something changes inside them. It inspires them to believe they can also do it,” she said.

Mamaila believes young people have talent, energy and big dreams and they just need the right opportunity.

“Start small and we will teach you. Learn the products, manage your money and stay committed. If you are unemployed, struggling to make ends meet, or simply want to earn extra income, this can be a real opportunity to grow at your own pace,” she said.
