What is FlexiCredit? FlexiCredit is a credit agreement that allows you to purchase goods and pay for them over an agreed period, typically 3 or 6 months.

What do I need to apply for FlexiCredit? To apply for FlexiCredit, you need:

– To be 18 years or older.
– A valid South African Identity Document (ID).
– An active cellphone number.
– Your bank account details.
– Proof of income (e.g., salary slip or rental income).
– Proof of address (e.g., municipal account or rental agreement).
– A minimum deposit: 33% for a 3-month plan and 16% for a 6-month plan.

What are the qualifying criteria for FlexiCredit?

– You must have a minimum income of R1,500 per month.
– You must have a clear credit record.
– You must demonstrate the ability to afford the repayments.

How long does approval take?

– Pre-approval typically happens within a few minutes.
– Final approval depends on how quickly you submit the required supporting documents.

How will I know if I am approved?
Pre-approval will be communicated via SMS to your provided cell phone number.

When will I receive my goods?
Goods will be delivered to directly to the supplied address within xx days of the deposit being received.

How are instalments collected?
TC Finance will collect the instalments on the agreed due date via a DebiCheck debit order from your bank account.

What is DebiCheck?
DebiCheck is a specific type of debit order that you confirm electronically on a once-off basis at the start of your contract. It ensures that you verify the details of the debit order with your bank before it is processed.

When will the debit order be processed?

– If the instalment sale is approved within 15 days of the agreed instalment day, your debit order will be processed in the following month.
– If approved more than 15 days before the instalment day, it will be processed in the same month.

Will I be reminded about the debit order?
Yes, you will receive a reminder SMS 5 days before the instalment is due, reminding you to have sufficient funds available in your account.

What happens if I miss a payment?
If you miss a payment, you need to contact us to arrange payment of the missed instalment.

What payment options are available for arrears?
You can pay with cash, debit/credit card, EFT, Pay@, or EasyPay.

Is FlexiCredit available online?
The FlexiCredit option is available via the TCD App What can be purchased with FlexiCredit? All items except perishable items can be purchased using FlexiCredit.

Can I pay off FlexiCredit before the end of the term?
Yes, you can request a settlement quote to pay off the outstanding amount at any time.

Can I pay for FlexiCredit at any time during the month?
No, the instalment will be collected on the agreed date.

How do I get a statement for my FlexiCredit account?
You will receive a monthly statement detailing your account.
